Trimora

Terms of Service

The terms for using Trimora

This is the agreement between you and us for using Trimora -- what the service does, what a subscription gets you, and what you're responsible for.

Effective date: October 12, 2026  ·  Applies to: Trimora, at trimora.ysmsolutions.app  ·  Governing entity: YSM Solutions LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Trimora, operated by YSM Solutions LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("YSM Solutions," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Trimora, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this agreement by reference. If you don't agree, don't use Trimora.

2. What Trimora is

Trimora is a manuscript-formatting service for authors preparing a book for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). You upload a manuscript, and Trimora generates three edition-specific outputs from it -- a Kindle EPUB, and paperback and hardcover print PDFs -- along with whatever front matter, back matter, and illustrations you configure along the way.

Trimora is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Amazon. "KDP" and "Kindle" are Amazon's own trademarks, referenced here only to describe what Trimora's output is formatted for. Uploading a file to KDP, and whether Amazon accepts it, is governed entirely by Amazon's own terms and publishing guidelines -- not by us.

Trimora's formatting is built around manuscripts organized with standard heading styles and running text (see our Help page for exactly how). It's best suited to text-first books -- fiction, non-fiction, poetry. It is not currently built for all-graphics manuscripts with little or no text, such as picture books, puzzle books, or coloring books, and we don't guarantee it will format those well.

3. Your account

You need an account to use Trimora. Account creation and sign-in are handled by our authentication provider, Clerk -- see our Privacy Policy for how that works. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a subscription.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Exporting your finished Kindle, paperback, and hardcover files requires an active subscription (or a lifetime-access grant, for accounts that have one). As of this writing, Trimora offers:

  • Monthly — $14.99/month, billed every month until canceled.
  • Yearly — $99/year, billed annually until canceled.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details ourselves (see our Privacy Policy). You can switch between plans, update your payment method, or cancel at any time through "Manage your subscription," which opens Stripe's own billing portal.

Canceling stops future billing, but your access continues through whatever period you've already paid for -- you won't be charged again, and you won't lose access early.

5. Money-back guarantee

If you're not satisfied, you may request a refund within your guarantee window: 15 days from your very first subscription if that first subscription was monthly, or 30 days if it was yearly. The window is set once, from your account's first-ever subscription, and does not reset or extend if you later switch plans. It's available once per account.

A refund is different from canceling: requesting a refund immediately ends your access and refunds the payment(s) on your current subscription. It is not the same as simply canceling (Section 4), which lets you keep using Trimora through the period you've already paid for but doesn't return any money.

6. Your content, your copyright

You own everything you upload to or create in Trimora -- your manuscript, title and cover text, illustrations, and author bio remain your copyrighted work. You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in your content. Uploading it to Trimora doesn't transfer, assign, or license any of that ownership to us.

To operate the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and render your content solely for the purpose of generating the previews and exports you request. We do not use your content to train AI or machine-learning models, and we do not sell or license it to any third party. See our Privacy Policy for more on how your content is handled and how to delete it.

You're responsible for making sure you actually have the rights to everything you upload -- your own writing, any images you add, and anything else included in your manuscript. Don't upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights, or that you don't otherwise have permission to use.

7. Acceptable use

Beyond the content requirement in Section 6, you agree not to:

  • Use Trimora for any unlawful purpose, or to create or distribute content that's illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights;
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the subscription/access controls that gate exporting (Section 4), or with any other security measure;
  • Attempt to access another user's account, books, or data, or otherwise circumvent the account isolation described in our Privacy Policy;
  • Upload files containing malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the service (for example, automated bulk uploads designed to consume resources rather than format an actual book);
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to Trimora itself, as distinct from the book files you legitimately export from your own account.

8. Trimora's own intellectual property

Trimora's software, design, branding, and the Trimora name are owned by YSM Solutions LLC. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the service as intended. This is separate from, and doesn't affect, your ownership of your own content (Section 6) or the files you export.

9. Third-party services

Trimora relies on third-party providers to operate -- Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payment, and a hosting/database provider for storage, among others described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those providers' own services (for example, completing checkout on Stripe's hosted page) is also subject to their own terms.

10. Disclaimers

Trimora is provided "as is" and "as available." We format your manuscript to match Amazon KDP's publicly documented specifications (trim sizes, margins, bleed, and similar requirements) as best we understand them at any given time, but we don't guarantee that a file exported from Trimora will be accepted by KDP, or that KDP's own requirements haven't changed since this was written -- acceptance is entirely Amazon's decision. We recommend reviewing your exported files, including a physical print proof for paperback/hardcover editions, before publishing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YSM Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of Trimora. Our total liability for any claim relating to Trimora will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

12. Termination

You can stop using Trimora and cancel your subscription at any time (Section 4). You can also delete your account entirely from the Dashboard, which permanently removes your books and data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in Section 7, or if we're required to by law. Where reasonably possible, we'll try to let you know why.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll update the effective date above and make reasonable efforts to let signed-in users know before it takes effect. Continuing to use Trimora after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
